GLS Fund Services is
a New York-based, client-focused, financial technology company with offices in
Thessaloniki, and is currently looking for an experienced .NET/SQL Server
Software Developer/Team Leader to assist with the development and support of a
suite of high finance applications developed in the .NET platform.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of software
development experience in:
- SQL stored procedures and
Entity Framework
- C#
- WPF and MVVM
- A good knowledge of the
software development process (ALM) in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- A good knowledge of SOLID and
DRY object-oriented software engineering practices.
- Knowledge of version control
systems.
- Ability to work in a team
setting—ability to lead, guide and share knowledge and experience with
other team members.
- Impeccable professionalism,
consistency and reliability.
- Ability to prioritize and
work on multiple tasks at one time.
- Motivated and able to learn
new processes and technologies quickly.
- Self-starter, self-initiator,
proactive, pragmatic and down-to-earth thinker.
- Detail-oriented with a
thorough and systematic approach to problem solving.

- Good written and verbal
skills in English.

Optional (but highly desirable) Qualifications
- A good knowledge of
object-oriented software engineering practices (TDD, BDD, AOP, CI,
Patterns, etc.).
- Experience performing
ScrumMaster duties.
- Knowledge of Team Foundation
Server (TFS).
