For our team in Athens, we are looking for a
Software Development Engineer (C++)
Your tasks:
- Contribute in development, documentation and debugging of software systems
- Conduct system analysis and development to keep our systems up to date with changing technologies
- Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications
- Improve system performance through systematic analysis
- Provide assistance to testing personnel and support personnel as needed to determine system problems
Your profile:
- University Diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- Good knowledge of the C++ (.NET Framework) programming language and object oriented development
- Good understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts
- Microsoft Visual Studio as your working tool
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment
- Ability to solve problems quickly and completely
- Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills
- Appreciation of how coding standards, version control, and good documentation contribute to maintainability.
- Excellent working knowledge of the English language (written and oral)
Additional skills that will be considered as an asset:
- Relevant post graduate qualification (MSc or PhD)
- Familiarity with the Qt framework and user interface design
- Database design and administration knowledge
- Working experience in German language
