Locii Solutions specialises in the design and implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.  We are currently seeking for a highly motivated individual to support the development of innovative solutions for our clients.

As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for providing our clients with business insights through descriptive, diagnostic and predictive business intelligence systems.  Working together with the Locii Solutions team, you will be responsible for designing and developing business intelligence solutions that will enable customers to leverage in-depth analysis of their data for actionable insights.

Your primary duties will include working with clients to determine their business intelligence requirements and converting them to high-quality solutions that meet current and future foreseeable needs, more specifically:

·       Translate business requirements to technical specifications

·       Design conceptual, logical and physical data models

·       Develop ETL processes using Integration Services (SSIS)

·       Develop OLAP cubes using Analysis Services (SSAS)

·       Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI

·       Create technical documentation

·       Test solutions and resolve issues

What we require from you

Demonstrate at least 3 years proven experience as a Business Intelligence developer:

·       Identifying, analysing and extracting raw data from data sources

·       Combining data from different data sources and developing data models.

·       Developing dashboards and reports to provide meaningful insights for decision making, control and efficiency.

In-depth understanding of database management systems, multidimensional modelling, online analytical processing and the ETL framework.

Knowledge of Microsoft Business Intelligence stack: SQL Server Database Engine, SQL Server Integration Services - SSIS, SQL Server Analysis Services - SSAS (both Tabular and Multidimensional models), Power BI and Excel.

An analytical mind with strong business acumen and problem-solving aptitude.

Proven abilities to take initiative and responsibility.

Excellent communication skills with an ability to explain technical terms to customers in a simple manner.

Desire to work in a team environment that involves a high level of interaction with the other team members.

Any proved experience in working with Microsoft Azure: SQL Server as a service, Analysis Services as a service and data factory, will be considered an advantage.
