Από τη μία, τα Reporting Services υποστηρίζουν το rendering σε οτιδήποτε μπορείς να φανταστείς μέσω rendering extentions. Τα κακά νέα, όπως περιγράφεται και στο <A href="http://beaucrawford.net/post/Enable-HTML-in-ReportViewer-LocalReport.aspx">Enable HTML in ReportViewer LocalReport</A>&nbsp;, είναι το ReportViewer control είναι hard-coded για να υποστηρίζει μόνο Excel και PDF. Ο μόνος τρόπος να χρησιμοποιήσεις τα υπόλοιπα formats είναι με μερικές ταρζανιές που περιγράφονται στο blog. Κάτι τέτοιο όμως μάλλον δεν είναι συμβατό με την άδεια του Visual Studio ή του SQL Server. No support, Use at your own risk κλπ, κλπ, κλπ</P> <P>Ίσως όμως και να μην χρειάζεται καν να κάνεις Export to Text από τον client. Τα Reporting Services είναι δωρεάν για χρήση ακόμα και με SQL Server Express. Υπάρχουν τα Reporting Services τα οποία είναι κομμάτι του SQL Server υπάρχει και ο Report Viewer που είναι WinForms component. Τί ακριβώς ρωτάς? Μήπως ρωτάς πως μπορείς να σώσεις ή να κάνεις export το report που εμφανίζει ο Report Viewer?
