Θα μπορούσες να συνδυάσεις το παραπάνω project με λίγο hardware hacking: Θα μπορούσες να βάλεις ένα καλώδιο στην σειριακή του υπολογιστή σου, και στην άλλη άκρη αντί για άλλο υπολογιστή, να βάλεις ένα Loopback connector (εδώ υπάρχει ένα διάγραμμα πως να φτιάξεις ένα τέτοιο connector). Έτσι θα χρειαζόσουν μόνο ένα υπολογιστή για να τσεκάρεις ένα καλώδιο...

Αναπτύσσω αυτόν το καιρό μια εφαρμογή σε VB για να μετράει τη συνέχεια μιας καλωδιωσης.Αυτό που δεν έχω καταλάβει είναι πως μπορώ να στείλω ενα σήμα αποτην σειριακή και να περιμένω σαν απάντηση πάλι απο την ίδια αυτό το σήμα ετσι ώστε να επιβεβαιωθεί η συνέχεια του καλωδίου.Δηλαδή αν στείλω ενα string απο την σειριακή και να περιμένω να μου το επιστρέψει .Επισης δεν ξέρω αν πρέπει να πρεπει να υπάρχει οπωσδήποτε hardware.Αν υπάρχει καποιο project, tuttorial για την σειριάκη θα μου ήταν χρήσιμα.
