IBF 1.5 Resource Kit

Almost missed this one :-). The resource kit is a must for anyone going for IBF.

The Microsoft Office Information Bridge Framework 1.5 Resource Kit includes tools, documentation, and sample solutions. The Resource Kit is a useful aid for new or experienced Information Bridge Framework solution developers.

MOIBF1.5_Reskit_SampleSolution.exe Resource Kit Sample Solution. Includes a sample solution that demonstrates features included in Information Bridge Framework 1.5.
MOIBF1.5_Reskit_SolutionDevGuide.exe Resource Kit Solution Development Guide. Provides conceptual and procedural documentation that describes how to build a solution based on the sample solution.
MOIBF1.5_Reskit_MDPublisher.exe Resource Kit Metadata Publishing Tool. Includes a tool used to publish or update production metadata from the command line and instruction document.

IBF 1.5 Download

After a very exciting last three days focussed on SharePoint (more on that later) I notice that the new version of IBF is available for download to the public. For all of you who have been enjoying my session at DevDays (btw. thanks for the very positive evaluation feedback), it is now time to try out things on your own.

Major reason to upgrade to IBF 1.5 is the tremendous increase in the productivity of creating IBF solutions. The metadata has not undergone any changes compared to version 1.0 (available since June 2004). But there is now a lot of guidance available in the form of good documentation, excellent wizards and walkthroughs.

Other improvements are an integrated debugger, integrated XSL transformation capability (using the BizTalk Mapper), Microsoft Office InfoPath® and Microsoft Internet Explorer support and branding capabilities.

So, don't wait and get that download here.
