EUROPEAN DYNAMICS SA is a leading European Information Technology and Telecommunications (“IT&T”) company, operating in Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Holland, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Greece, as well as several other countries internationally. The company designs and develops software applications, and implements integrated state-of-the-art technology IT and telecoms projects. EUROPEAN DYNAMICS is a significant supplier of IT&T services to European Union Institutions, International organisations, European Agencies and National government Administrations, currently implementing a contracts portfolio of more than 100 Million Euros.

We wish to employ a Windows C/S Developer to provide his/her services in a major European Institution in Cologne-Germany.

Objectives

Maintain a set of existing MS ACCESS based applications.
Migrate the data fro MS ACCESS to Oracle and bring the necessary changes to the GUI.
Improve and monitor the quality of those databases.
Write technical documentation and fully comment all developments.
Track and eliminate bugs in cooperation with the project team.

Mandatory skills

At least 10 years of experience with MS ACCESS and or Visual Basic.
Good knowledge of Oracle SQL & PL/SQL.
Good knowledge of MS SQLServer SQL and TSQL.
Ability to write structured, readable and reusable code.
Ability to coordinate with other developers as well as the users in an international environment.
Fluency in English.

Optional skills

Good knowledge of French or German.
