Job Description:

As a technical specialist in .Net Application Development, the Development Team Leader will lead the development work in the area of Business Systems. This challenging position involves: analysis, development and integration of business specific IT systems; being responsible for facilitating the implementation of identified development projects; promoting effective and efficient design; researching new development methodologies; and providing advice and analysis. The Successful Applicant will be an interface with other organizations and agencies, professional bodies, and private industry on IT Business System development matters and at the same time prepare proposals and user documentation, train and support Business Systems development and support staff where necessary.

The Software Development Team Leader will have proven commercial experience in the following skills:

Developing & leading a development team
Software analysis, development/integration and implementation in .Net (C#)
Business analysis skills
IT experienced in a networked environment; understanding of database principles and experience with SQL
Business experience, able to analyse business needs and applications with some exposure to accounting principles and systems
Managing the selection, implementation and support of IT systems
Proven track record in providing business results from implementation of IT systems
Ability to achieve agreed service delivery to both internal and external customers

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree
1-3 years of relevant successful Information Systems experience working as an application developer
Demonstrated proficiency in relevant technologies including Microsoft SQL Server, ASP.NET 1.0/2.0, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Reporting Services, SOAP and XML
Experience utilizing a software development methodology in designing and building software applications is required
Experience in use of development source control tools such as Microsoft Team Studio, SubVersion or PVCS Version Manager is required
Strong written/oral communication skills, with ability to effectively create detailed technical design specifications based on user needs
Strong organizational skills with ability to execute project plans and manage deliverables against strict deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, etc.
Willingness to travel as needed
Any experience in mobile services industry is a plus
