client of parent/child db --> 'System.Data.NoNullAllowedException fires but where to handle?

Έχω φτιάξει ένα μικρό client για μια βάση με ένα parent/child σχημα , μονο ids parent(id), child(id,pid).

Και έχω ενα gridview με ένα navigator για το parent και ένα gridview για τον child

κάθως και το dataset, bindingSources etc όπως τα εφτιαξε ο desinger.

προβλημα

Αν προσθέσω 2 εγγραφες, (με το κουμπί click, click)

πετάει αυτό: "An unhandled exception of type 'System.Data.NoNullAllowedException' occurred in System.Data.dll" πολυ σωστά γιατί primary key

null δεν γίνεται... Το θέμα είναι πως να το χειριστώ? σε ποιο σημείο?

εχω βάλει κενούς handlers για το datagrid->DataError, bindingsource->DataError no luck...
