Lighthouse is a leading web development company in Greece with 10 years of presence and hundreds of successful projects in its portfolio (www.lighthouse.gr - page is currently under complete reconstruction but the portfolio section works). We are dedicated to building custom and complex web applications, mainly using Microsoft .Net technology. A full time .Net Web developer is now needed to join our highly skilled team of engineers.
The candidate must have multiple years of web development experience and at least 1 year of recent experience with ASP.NET development, either in C# or VB.NET.

• Web development experience and familiarity with web application design and development principles
• Solid skills in Object Oriented Programming
• Recent experience with and strong knowledge of modern web technologies including HTTP, JavaScript, DOM, XML
• Database design and programming knowledge in MS SQL Server or MySQL.
• Solid communication and team work skills
• Urge to continually learn and improve technical skills
• Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates)

Required Skills and qualifications:
C# or VB.NET, HTTP, JavaScript, DOM, XML, SQL

Non-required skills:
(knowledge of one or more of them will be considered as a huge plus):
• Familiarity with HTML and XHTML standards
• Familiarity with CSS
• Familiarity with W3C Validation principles
• Familiarity with classic ASP and/or PHP
• Basic Windows Server and/or IIS administration skills
• Understanding of JavaScript libraries like, jQuery, moo tools, ExtJs
• Experience with Web Content Management Systems
