GLS Fund Services is a New York-based, client-focused, financial technology company with offices in Thessaloniki, and is currently looking for an experienced .NET/SQL Server Software Developer/Team Leader to assist with the development and support of a suite of high finance applications developed in the .NET platform.

Required Qualifications

At least 2 years of software development experience in:

SQL stored procedures and Entity Framework
C#
WPF and MVVM

A good knowledge of the software development process (ALM) in an Agile/Scrum environment.
A good knowledge of SOLID and DRY object-oriented software engineering practices.
Knowledge of version control systems.
Ability to work in a team setting—ability to lead, guide and share knowledge and experience with other team members.
Impeccable professionalism, consistency and reliability.
Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks at one time.
Motivated and able to learn new processes and technologies quickly.
Self-starter, self-initiator, proactive, pragmatic and down-to-earth thinker.
Detail-oriented with a thorough and systematic approach to problem solving.

Good written and verbal skills in English.
Fulfilled military obligations for male candidates.

Optional (but highly desirable) Qualifications

A good knowledge of object-oriented software engineering practices (TDD, BDD, AOP, CI, Patterns, etc.).
Experience performing ScrumMaster duties.
Knowledge of Team Foundation Server (TFS).
