Senior Consultant – Data Warehouses and Reporting

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS SA is a leading European Information Technology and Telecommunications (“IT&T”) company, operating in Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Holland, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Greece, as well as several other countries internationally. The company designs and develops software applications, and implements integrated state-of-the-art technology IT and telecoms projects.

The company is a significant supplier of IT&T services to European Union Institutions, International organisations, European Agencies and National government Administrations, currently implementing a contracts portfolio of more than 100 Million Euros.  EUROPEAN DYNAMICS wishes to employ IT professionals to provide their services in major European Institutions in Brussels, Stockholm and Luxembourg.

Requirements:

·        University degree related to IT (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent). A postgraduate degree in the aforementioned areas will be  highly appreciated.

·        Excellent knowledge of SQL

·        Knowledge of data warehouse modeling

·        Knowledge of at least two Commercial off-the-shelf products for reporting (COTS)

·        Experience with automatic map generation (e.g., using GIS tools) would be beneficial

·        Experience with MS SQL Server 2005

·        Experience with MS Analysis Services or any other OLAP product

·        Experience in writing technical documentation

·        Familiar with UML

·        Fluency in English is compulsory. Good knowledge of French or other languages will be highly appreciated.
