This time we are looking for a (Senior) Ruby Developer (m/f)
What
you tell your friends about what you do:
I´m working for a successful e-commerce company based
in Berlin, which offers a platform which is very helpful for people who want to
sell stuff. As a Ruby developer I´m building nice thinks that look awesome, are
better to use and make people love using it.
What you truly do:
- Together with your team you will help building new features and
products for the platform
- To achieve this you will work with the latest technologies that are
available to produce a consistent user interface across different devices
and browsers – including responsive
- Help improve and develop new code within an agile and fast paced
work environment
- Maintain the existing codebase
- Build widgets with JavaScript that make the platform more
interesting for visitors
- You are a part of a very collaborative environment that makes it
easy to learn a lot from each other
- You work closely with the UI/Design and the product management
teams to get the best experience
- You ensure well tested and performant code that works across
different browsers and devices
Your Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years professional experience in software
development. Working on different e-commerce projects with high traffic
would be a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of Ruby and at least one other language like
Java, C/C++, Scala
- You are passionate about software development and you contribute to
open source projects
- Production experience with Ruby
- You have a degree in computer science or equivalent industry
knowledge – a plus
