Xaf supports for now only 2 platforms for the moment and this post will focus to a technique that can be used to write code that is platform independent same for web and win and is aiming advance xafers . Here is an implementation of a nice Textbox in WPF that suggests possible values based on the current user’s input. It is different from WPF’s native editable Combobox since it does not load all possible values at initialization (saving time and memory). The Textbox calls a method that returns the suggested values as soon as it detects a specific amount of idle time in the user’s typing. During startup, if some extension package of Visual Studio issues an error, the IDE offers the option to not try loading it again next time. Τα Power Tools είναι κάτι σαν θεσμός πια για τους developers και αποτελούν συχνά-πυκνά πολύ καλές προσθήκες στα όσα ήδη προσφέρει το κάθε Microsoft προϊόν out-of-the-box. In Greece there is some times (especially in more rural places) stealing of ATMs (Automatic Teller Machines) from banks using "borrowed" bulldozers to bring down walls holding it etc. Obviously the crooks take the machine with them to open it up later on at a safer place. Can you see something strange at the above screenshot? Taken not many days ago, using Google Chrome. Had opened many pages (as you can see from the tabs), some at Twitter profile pages I planned on checking out / following up later and then closed the browser.
