AJAX explained (client-side JavaScript with sever-side PHP example)
Just came across a very nice tutorial on how to implement AJAX with client-side JavaScript and some server-side PHP . The nice thing with it is that it doesn't use any special JavaScript library to hide the details, so it serves as a good insight on how client and server interact and what content is exchanged when you use AJAX to update a page's content without refreshing the whole
